Coasteer and SUP at Anstey's Cove

This morning I was down at one of my favourite locations, Anstey's Cove working a Coasteering session with a group of Explorer Scouts for Somerset Adventures. After work (ie midday ish) there was time for a splash about on SUPs with Robin and Ben although probably more time was sent in the water than on the boards!

Coasteering Tech Advice

A nice day observing an instructor from Somerset Adventures lead a group Coasteering at Anstey's Cove.  Wet and High Adventures Ltd are currently not offering Coasteering as an activity so if you want to partake in this, we highly recommend Somerset Adventures who we have worked with over the last year to get their staff all trained up.

Coasteering at Anstey's Cove

A day at Anstey's Cove running a Coasteering session working for Wet and High Adventures Ltd with students from Bridgwater and Taunton College . A much smaller group than expected but they all had fun. I was also training up a new assistant guide Ben, so once we had finished with the group we got straight back in at a different tide height to look at how the jumps and sumps had changed at different water levels.

Another Warm Coasteer

Another great Coasteering session down at Anstey's Cove with 2 couples who were keen to enjoy both the warm water and the jumping and splashing about. Always good to sample the compulsory post session coffee and lunch at the Anstey's Cove Cafe . Although not quite as sunny as yesterday we got away with the weather and the water is around 17 degrees at the moment.

Warm and Sunny Coasteer

After a week of driving minibuses and shuffling paper, it was great to get out to lead a Coasteering session for  Wet and High Adventures Ltd  with a group of 8 keen adults in the warm and sunny location of Anstey's Cove, Torbay. The water was very clear and super calm making for a very pleasant and relaxed day out full of climbing, swimming, jumping and even a sump.

Another Coasteer

Today I was back at Anstey's Cove with the remaining few Level 2 Public Service students from Bridgwater College who are finishing their course shortly. A drier day with more Sun than Monday. Low tide gave us some great option for weasling and wading with the jumps becoming usuable at the end.

Today I was out with Bridgwater College students down at Ansteys Cove. These were the Level 2 Public Services students who were getting a treat for the end of their course. Big thanks to Dave for assisting me (well doing most of the work really whilst I took pics).

Today I was working for  Wet and High Adventures taking Ian and his family and friends Coasteering at Anstey's Cove. As is often the case in October, the water was warmer than the air. We had a great 2 1/2 hr session jumping, swimming and get thrown about by the waves.

The last day working with my Foundation Degree students from Bridgwater College today and we went Coasteering at Ansteys Cove. Low numbers today only 3 plus another member of staff but great weather and a good 2 hr session. The water is slowly getting warmer.
