Back in El Chorro to meet up with Jay and Anna for another week in the sun. A couple of multipitch routes (5 and 6 pitches) plus 12 single pitch routes ranging from 4c to 6b followed by a nice grade 3 Via Ferrata to finish. A couple of windy days that were best spent down low plus being bitten/stung by an unknown assailant give me a very swollen itchy ankle just added to the fun. I am now at Malaga airport waiting for a flight back to the UK

This week I have been sport climbing in the warm December sun of El Chorro in southern Spain with good friend Jay. A mix of 2 big multipitch routes (12 pitches and 11 pitches respectively) plus 14 single pitch routes upto 6a made for a great week even though we had one wet day in a cafe with no climbing. I am already planning to come back after my Scottish Winter season as I should be stronger and lighter after a few weeks of winter climbing.

After a weekend's work, I decided to have some more climbing and joined Jez in the sun at a couple of the Sport Crags just of the A55. Penmaen Head and Castle Inn. We climbed a number of routes in a relaxed, sunny environment before I headed off for the long drive home
