Today we woke up to a brilliant sunny morning and had breakfast on the stern before heading back out to sea and round to Wareham going past The Needles on the Isle of Wight. Over the last two days we have covered around 70 nautical miles and had 12 hours sailing. We have had force 3 - 5 and sea state of slight to moderate. I am now an expert at making coffee whilst at 30 degree tilt. However, that means I have to use the loo on the same angle which is not so easy.

 British Sailing Weather Last night I jumped on my Friend's yacht and this morning we headed out down the Wareham Channel and into Poole Harbour. We headed out along the Dorset coast and then the Hampshire coast before arrivng at Lymington Yacht Haven for the evening. The weather suring the day started off wet and windy and I had a few minutes of feeling rough until I got my sea legs. Tha latter half of the day was much better and we were sailinmg along at 7knts with the sun trying to come out.

Yesterday and today I have been working for Adventure Cafe on a Swanage to Weymouth sponsored walk for Great Ormond Street Hospital. 42 Clients started and 42 finished the 38km route. It was very windy on route and this made the going hard at times. Well done to everyone. I am currently sitting on my friends yacht in Wareham and intend to be sailing for the next 4 days

Today I took 5 BFD Sport and Outdoor Ed students surfing with their tutor to Croyde. 4 were beginners and one had done a bit before. By the end of the session, 3 of them were standing for a short while. The waves were not great for learning but the weather was fine and sunny. This was my last day for Bridgwater College for this academic year and I have the next three months to work on my own projects until I return in September.

This was a mirror image of the previous one with hot and sunny weather on day one with heavy rain overnight and into this morning. It was a windy as ever. Well done to the 2 teams who made it all the way to the pick up point.

 Col, Gail and I enjoying the sunshine Yesterday and Today I was on Exmoor with Level 2 Public Services Students for a 2 day expedition as part of their Outdoor Education Modules. On Monday we walked with them in their groups to check their skills and help them improve. On Tuesday they were let loose on their own to complete the challenge.

After attending my cousins wedding yesterday morning I headed out onto Exmoor to join up with Haygrove School and the 71 students on their D of E Bronze Expedition. 12 groups out in all making their way from Dunster to County Gate.
