Back out at Anstey's Cove with Plymouth College Year 8 students. Good tides, good weather and good students made for a great day out which finished with some frisbee on the top field.  Day off tomorrow and I need the rest!

A drier day today at Chudleigh meaning the candidates got to lead some routes and we didn't get wet through. Unfortunately we needed to get involved with assisting a fallen climber so I hope she recovers quickly. It is very difficult trying to communicate with candidates with a Coastguard Helicopter hovering overhead.

Today I have been assessing candidates for the Mountain Training  Single Pitch Award . Wet Wet Wet was the weather today, however we still managed to spend some time at Sheep's Tor before we gave in and ran to the climbing wall. Hope for better conditions tomorrow.

What a difference a day makes. Today the sea was much calmer and the weather sunny (at times) so it was a Coasteering session at Anstey's Cove for Plymouth College Year 8 students. One morning and one afternoon session kept me in the water for around 4 hrs today but as it is lovely and warm that was by no means a problem.

Today the plan was to go Coasteering with Plymouth College Year 8 students but as it was very blown out, we had some advanced rock pooling and got battered in the surf at the beach instead.

Today was the last day kayaking out of Mount Batten with Year 9 Plymouth College students. Although not as hot as the last two days the weather was still good and we had a nice paddle round to Mount Batten beach before lunch and a number of games and a swim in the afternoon.

Back out at Mount Batten with some more Year 9 Plymouth College students. More sun, warm sea and a keen enthusiastic group made for an enjoyable day that as yesterday ended up with everybody in the water have a splash about. Good fun all round
