I am off to Tanzania for some sunshine with students from Godalming College whilst working for True Adventure .  I haven't been to Tanzania since 2009 so really looking forward to going back. Not sure how much internet access I will have but I will blog when I can, otherwise I am back in UK on 9th Aug after 3 weeks on the mainland including a Safari and a week of diving on Zanzibar. I hope it doesn't rain too much in the UK for those of you staying at home.

Yesterday and today I have been pottering about on The Mendip Hills both on bike and on foot assessing some Bronze DofE teams from a girls school in Bristol. Pleased to say all completed the 2 day expedition.

Today I was in Torbay working for Blue Dot Adventure with a group paddling from Meadfoot Beach to Anstey's Cove for lunch and then return. The sun shone, the sea was calm (apart from around Thatcher Rock) and the group were great.

I have been down in the New Forest this week working with Haygrove School on their year 7 camp. A bit of biking, trips to Beaulieu , abseiling, BBQ and much more. Will be spending tomorrow cleaning the bikes :-(

Another quick visit to Cannington Activity Centre today to assess a couple of staff at the High Ropes. Now I am off to the New Forest for a week

  Today was Welcome Day for the new intake of Outdoor Ed students at Bridgwater College . After giving them a quick talk in the classroo, it was off to Cannington Activity Centre from some High & Low Ropes and then up onto The Quantock Hills for some Mountain Biking

Today I was doing a supported DofE assessment for Danny. ie he is new to it so I was helping him out. Fortunately Danny also paddles so we got a few hours afloat around Babbacombe  in between seeing the group.
