Open Boating

In the centre of the picture, just above and to the left of Adam's left shoulder is the seal who followed us all day.

Today we decided to go out on Loch Linnie in an Open Boat. Adam is going for his 2 Star paddlesport so this was a good oportunity to get some training done. We paddled around between the islands and saw many birds and a number of seals. The sea bed was littered with muscles (mainly old shells though) and amazing sea weeds. The weather was much better than forecast though we could see how stripped Aonach Mor, Carn mor Dearg and The Ben had become with more grass than snow on the west faces. Hopefully the weather will improve enough to get out climbing again tomorrow.
