The Seam

Today we had an early start (05.30) and drove to The Cairngorms where we found out the road was closed due to snow. This opened at 9am so after a big fry up we headed into the corrie to climb. We bumped into Alan Halewood with his clients and after a brief disscussion on routes headed up The Seam IV 5. There was plenty of snow around but I couldn't help wishing it was a bit firmer as the route would have been easier. We topped out about 5pm and made it back to the car before it got dark.
