Mynydd Troed

 Heading up Mynydd Troed

Today I was working with students from a Reading Secondary School who were in The Black Mountains for some basic navigation and expedition training.
During the day we looked at navigation skills including map orientation, locating points and recognising features. The weather held out for us and we were able to take in the summit of Mynydd Troed at 609m.
In the evening I delivered basic First Aid Training to prepare them for when they go out on expedition.
