Swimming Pools and Wetsuits

Today was a day off apart from conducting an assessment for the RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teaches and Coaches. Unfortunately (for the candidates) the test was held in an Outdoor Pool so wetsuits were the order of the day. All 8 candidates performed well in the baltic conditions and passed the assessment which included CPR and First Aid as well as the pool stuff.

For the next 3 days I will be on Dartmoor with a group of Bridgwater College Public Emergency Services students teaching navigation and wild camping so I may be unable to update the blog until Thursday
