Sea Kayaking at Barrow

Heading out

Atlantic Grey Seals

A plethera of kayaks

 Kayak and Cat

After a long drive up last night from Plymouth and spending the evening at a mates house, today we met up with 11 other paddlers and headed out from Barrow in Furness for a day paddling around the bottom of Walney Island. Todays conditions were interesting with some strong gusts and 1.5m waves which we had a play in. Tomorrows forcast is not quite so good with wind speed in excess of 40mph. Might have to plan carefully where we go tomorrow. This was day 1 of a 4 Star Sea Assessment
